| Bet the pass line. |
| One of the most basic bets that you can make on a craps table is the pass line bet. Craps strategists will hasten to tell you that if players were just to wager on this particular permutation of the more than forty available, they would stand a much stronger chance of winning consistently at craps. The pass line bet has one of the lowest house edges in a casino at 1.41 percent. |

Not only that, but betting on the pass line is very simple, and involves the minimum of calculation and chip placing, something that you want to avoid as much as possible in a land casino but are considerably less of a problem in an online casino.

option, then you win money if the shooter throws a seven or an eleven. You lose your bet if the shooter throws any craps; in other words: two, three or twelve. If the shooter throws any other number, i.e. four, five, six, eight, nine or ten, then he has established his point. These are known as the "Box Numbers" on a craps table, because they are situated in boxes on the craps layout, usually at the top of the table. Once the point has been established, the dealer will traditionally mark the point with a round puck-like object, placed in the relevant box.
Once the point has been established, the betting pattern alters considerably. Players have to make their point before they throw another seven. If a seven is thrown, then the bet is lost. If not, it remains in place and cannot be pressed until the round is over. Most of the conservative craps bettors prefer this option, claiming that it is the safest craps bet you will find, and its low returns certainly indicate that fact. |
